Cheryl Tamez is our Office Manager. Cheryl joined the staff in March 2007. She performs all financial duties and oversees all office management. Cheryl works directly under Dr. Benson and will be happy to address any patient concerns about the office.

Donna Donna Francis has been with the office since 2000. Donna is responsible for answering our telephones, scheduling appointments and assisting with all duties in the front office. She does our reminder calls and is responsible for contacting our patient's insurance companies prior to surgeries, deliveries or procedures.

Randa Randa Vajdak, our physician assistant (PA-C), is a graduate of Texas A&M University. She obtained her Physician Assistant Degree from the University of Florida School of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida.  She then earned a Masters in Family Medicine from the University of Nebraska, School of Medicine in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Randa proudly served her country as a Physician Assistant in the United States Navy.  Randa has worked in the medical field for 20 years gaining experience and knowledge in a variety of specialties.  

Renee Renee Kindt is our office nurse. Renee's main job is to manage the phone calls for Dr. Benson. Having been with Dr. Benson since 1996, Renee can answer or find the answer to almost any medical question patients might have. Renee performs urodynamics testing and is capable of performing any medical task that may be required in the office. Renee assists Dr. Benson with our medical weight loss program.

Mary Mary De Leon is our lab technician. Mary has been with the office since 2000. She is responsible for keeping the lab running, and is more than capable of performing almost any lab function patients need. Mary performs bone densitometry testing and urodynamics testing.

Liz Liz Y'Barbo is Dr. Benson's medical assistant. She has been with the office since 2001. Liz assists Dr. Benson in the exam rooms and with procedures. She also assists with phone calls to the nurse. Liz handles our recall notifications and notes to patients with their test results.

Kelly Kelly Albright is our Cosmetic Surgery Consultant for the Benson OB/GYN Center. With more than 15 years of experience in numerous aspects of surgery, Kelly is well qualified for this new position. Kelly has certifications in sterile technique, infection control and conscious sedation monitoring. Kelly has additional education in business. With her business knowledge, Kelly will explain the financial obligations of cosmetic surgery. Kelly is happy to assist the patient in submitting an application for financing of their surgery, if the patient has chosen to finance their surgery. Kelly is with the patient through every step of the cosmetic surgery process. She will schedule all appointments and surgery, she will assist Dr. Benson in surgery and she will provide post operative support.

Kay Hartgroves has her RN, BSN from the University of Texas @ Austin. She has over 27 years experience in the Peri-Operative field.   Patient care and advocacy are her specialities.  Kay circulates and assists on surgical cases and provides laser therapy for smoking cessation, weight loss and a variety of other health issues.  Her goal is to make every patient feel unique and at ease.

Becky McCarroll is our sonographer and will perform your obstectrical and gynecological ultrasounds.  She has been scanning since 1998 and holds her registry with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Becky has a true passion for her work and strives to make each sonogram experience special.

Becky Accurso joined our office staff September 2007. Becky is responsible for answering the telephones, scheduling appointments and assisting with all duties in the front office. She does reminder calls for all scheduled appointments. Becky has l7 years experience as a registered medical assistant and is eager to direct patients with their medical concerns.
