About Dr. Royal Benson - OB/GYN

Dr. Royal Benson, III F.A.C.O.G. Royal H. Benson, III, M.D. graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, School of Medicine, in Lubbock, Texas, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his internship and residency at St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Benson is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is a member of the American Medical Association, The Texas Medical Association, the Brazos-Robertson County Medical Society the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, the Association of American Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the International Society of Cosmetogynecology.

Dr. Benson has been a solo practicioner since 1997. This allows you to see the same doctor at each visit, instead of the "doctor on call" or an associate. Dr. Benson has also been able to do 97% of his own deliveries since 1997. Dr. Benson's specialty is giving each of his patients personal, attentive care.

Dr. Benson has been performing laparoscopic surgery since 1985. He has extensive training and experience in laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Benson has attended numerous training programs for advanced laparoscopic surgery. He is very skilled and highly qualified in laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Benson continues to bring new, minimally invasive surgical procedures to his patients. He is pleased to be able to offer the latest techniques.
